The Chamber of Commerce and Industry serves 3,000 industrial, trade and service companies within the metropolitan area, which includes eight municipalities (Bacqueville-en-Caux, Bellencombre, Dieppe, Dieppe Est, Envermeu, Longueville-sur-Scie, Offranville and Tôtes).

Its assignments:

  1. The Centre for Business Formalities (Centre de Formalités des Entreprises). The Centre serves as a one-stop shop for all the business leaders who are members of the Dieppe CCI, to advise and assist them in their various administrative formalities required in connection with the creation, modification or winding-up of a business concern. It also provides lists of companies on request from the Business file and oversees the training tax.
  2. Aid for Trade. Aid for Trade includes the provision of technical support and personal advice for tradespeople, helps in the modernisation and renovation of trades, sets up specific training programmes, and provides support for trade promotion and sales drive operations.
  3. Aid for Industry. Aid for Industry involves providing technical support for industrial companies in their development and investment projects.
  4. Aid for Entrepreneurship. This service is for all the creators and buyers of businesses within the Dieppe metropolitan area, in the trade, industry and service sectors.
  5. Business information. The Business Information Service is available to entrepreneurs in order to provide answers to any questions they may have concerning economic, legislative, regulatory, social or special events. It provides a self-consultation service based on hundreds of technical works and journals, and manages the business premises exchange. It also manages the publications produced for the Dieppe Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
  6. Studies and Regional Planning. This service is for local authorities located within the metropolitan area, and provides them with technical support for their projects, whether of a specific or general nature, involving regional planning and development.
  7. Training. The Dieppe Business Institute (ICD) is a training centre that provides all business owners, tradespeople, employees, job seekers and youths within the Dieppe metropolitan area with a wide range of training courses addressing their specific needs (the courses range from technical to commercial courses, office automation, foreign languages, human resources, risk prevention and safety, etc.).
